Our naming system is consistent, clear and easy to understand. It always follows the same logic. The naming always specifies the product name and convenience level. For certain products, a code or hero name is also shown.
The product name
The first part of the name describes the product name. Combi is used as a prefix for a product combination. The product function is an optional, additional descriptive element that is translated into German, English, French and Italian.
The convenience level
The second part of the product designation consists of the comfort level. Advanced Line appliances have a three-digit number (V200 / V400 / V600) and Excellence Line appliances have a four-digit number (V2000 / V4000 / V6000). The V stands for V-ZUG. The respective convenience level is defined by the range of functions and the price.
The codes
For targeted product differentiation, a code is also used for product categories with a high product range depth. This is made up of letters and numbers that describe product-specific information such as niche height, installation type, technology, width standard or functions.
The Hero name
To emphasise a product that has an extraordinary innovation, it is given a hero name.
