Warranty information

We congratulate you on your purchase and hope that the V-ZUG appliance you have acquired will provide you with many years of satisfaction. Please ensure that this warranty certificate is kept in a safe place. In any case where warranty service is required, it is necessary to present the warranty sticker, this warranty certificate, or a written document indicating the date and place of purchase of the product.

We, Digital Kitchen Ltd., Company Registration No. 513758029 ("the Importer"), located at 295 Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv, are hereby responsible to the purchaser of the product and any legal transferee ("the Consumer") for the proper functioning of the product, in terms of defects in workmanship and/or materials, provided that the product is used wisely and reasonably and subject to the following conditions:

  1. Warranty Period: The warranty for the product is for a period of ten years (120 months) ("the Warranty Period"), starting on the actual date of delivery of the product to the consumer or upon the completion of its installation at the consumer's residence or consumer training for product operation (if installation/training is required by the Importer as a condition for product activation and warranty validity), whichever is later. It is required that until the installation (if such installation is required), the product has not been used and has been kept under appropriate conditions as specified by the Importer. If the product is installed by Brimag Elite Ltd., Company Registration No. 514509504, or its representatives as a condition for product activation, this warranty will also apply to the installation.

  2. Installation and Training: Installation at the consumer’s residence and/or training on product operation (if required by the Importer) will be performed exclusively by the Importer or its representatives within one week of the product’s actual delivery date to the consumer. If an agreement is made between the Importer and the consumer that the consumer notifies the Importer of the installation or training date, the Importer (or its representatives) will carry out the installation or training within one week of the consumer’s request, provided the time elapsed from delivery to the request date does not exceed one year unless agreed otherwise.

  3. Eligibility: The warranty is valid only for products imported into Israel by the Importer and marketed by them.

  4. Initial Inspection: Consumers must inspect the product promptly after receipt. Acceptance of the product constitutes confirmation that the external packaging and visible parts are new, intact, and comply with the order, without defect, and in accordance with the Sale of Goods Law.

  5. Defective Products: Products found defective within the Warranty Period will be repaired by the Importer or defective parts replaced with new and original parts, at the Importer's sole discretion and expense. If repair is not feasible, the Importer may: - Replace the product with an identical or equivalent model. - Refund the consumer, based on the Importer’s decision.

  6. Coverage Post-Repair: A repaired or replaced product will be covered under the warranty for the remaining duration of the original Warranty Period. Repairs or replacements will not extend the original warranty duration.

  7. Repair Services and Timeframes: - Refrigerators, freezers, gas/electric stoves, washing machines, central heating systems, ovens, TVs larger than 20 inches, dishwashers, and dryers will be repaired at the consumer’s residence. If lab repairs are needed, the Importer will transport the items to the lab and back, free of charge. - Specific repair timeframes: - Refrigerators/Freezers: Within 1 day. - Stoves: Within 2 days. - Washing Machines/Dryers/Dishwashers/TVs over 20 inches: Within 3 days.

  8. Technician Visits: Technician appointments will be scheduled in advance, with a maximum waiting period of 2 hours beyond the agreed time. If delayed, the Importer will notify the consumer and reschedule within the warranty timeframe.

  9. Exclusions: Consumers will be charged for repairs if the defect is caused by: - Greater Force: Events occurring after product delivery. - Consumer Negligence: Including misuse or deviation from the user manual. - Unauthorized Repairs/Modifications.

  10. Warranty Voidance: The warranty will not apply if: - The consumer fails to report the need to repair the product during the Warranty Period. - The defect results from deliberate damage. - The product is used for non-personal, non-domestic, or non-family purposes.

  11. Exception: Except for the commitments outlined in this warranty certificate and as per applicable law, the importer assumes no other warranty or liability, whether written or verbal. Responsibility for the products or their use, including suitability, is governed solely by this warranty and applicable law. In case of conflict, the provisions of the law shall prevail.

  12. Spare Parts: During the Warranty Period, spare parts will be available for purchase for up to 7 years from the product’s delivery or installation.

  13. Liability Limitation: The Importer is not responsible for damages, direct or indirect, unless specified by Israeli law.

  14. Authorized Service Providers: Only the Importer and authorized representatives are permitted to modify warranty terms. Any modifications done by unauthorized service providers will not be valid.

  15. Territorial Validity: This warranty is valid within Israel, excluding Palestinian territories. Legal disputes related to this warranty will be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, or Be’er Sheva.

  16. Importer Responsibility: The responsibility of the importer is as detailed in this certificate only, and it is valid only for products imported to Israel by the importer and for services provided by Brimag Elite Ltd. (or anyone on its behalf). It does not apply to any additions to the product, including, but not limited to, cables and accessories that were not sold to the consumer by the importer. For the avoidance of doubt, this certificate does not impose any responsibility on the importer or on Brimag Elite Ltd. (or anyone on its behalf) for any direct and/or indirect damage and/or loss that may be caused to the consumer and/or any third party and/or to property as a result of a defect and/or malfunction and/or incompatibility and/or failure of the product or any part of it and/or in its operation and/or for any other reason, unless such responsibility is stipulated by law.
