A property in a typical Georgian townhouse, in Kensington, was recently reconfigured to become a contemporary home. The kitchen is perfectly integrated to the living area: here, designer Natasha Wegryzin committed to architecture to transform the features of the building – small spaces, original sash windows, high ceilings – into aesthetic peculiarities.
The wooden floor present throughout, together with the glass walls and doors, ensures the fluidity of the space as a whole. To avoid making the cooking area feel too enclosed, the monolithic porcelain worktop is kept clean and tidy: the breakfast station has been incorporated into the walnut and brass cabinet, while open shelves allow the light to bounce around the room. Natural tones and textures inspire a soft, warm, and homely feeling.

The black mirror finish matches the Crittall-style windows, while opting for the handleless door meant no additional metallic finishes in the space.
